For a room scheme that will never date, consider an All White Interior.
White has long been a favourite colour for many decades, probably since time began, whitewash being the only choice and inexpensive of wall paint in times gone by.
Nowdays, using texture and different finishes of white on walls, furniture, flooring and accessories, stops a white room looking bland and flat.
Here’s Five Style Ideas to give your All White Home a makeover
Using a whitewashed Shabby Chic flooring here, makes the white french furniture stand out and not disappear within the scheme
In this bathroom, wooden boards are used to clad the walls and then painted white, the board running across add interest to the walls
In this lounge, there is a mixture of textures and fabrics. From Velvet to cotton and wool and faux fur, all bringing a style of luxury and warmth to this all white sofa
In this All White Lounge, different shades of white have been used to stop it looking flat and bland. Long gone are the days when Brilliant White was the only paint option. Within Farrow & Ball, Crown Paints and Dulux Paints, there are over 50 shades of white available
In this stunning All White Bathroom, different shaped tiles for the floor and wall, adds interest and texture.

New Product Launch for UniqueChic .. The Driftwood Reclaimed Furniture
Furniture designers, I think, have a tricky job trying to dream up new and unique designs, after all, how many styles of Chest Of Drawers are they able to produce to make an impact or create a buzz with customers? Or indeed, does the customer even have use for different styles of Chests?
Instead they tend to use different materials and finishes to bring their own sense of style to new products, whilst still keeping the same template for the design.
Reclaimed Chest Of Drawers
This week, http://www.uniquechicfurniture.co.uk
have launched a new Collection, Driftwood Reclaimed Furniture.
Driftwood Large Sideboard
Whilst the different designs that are within the range are quite conventional, the materials used are unique.
The Driftwood Reclaimed range is hand-made with traditional construction methods from upcycled/recycled boat wood; resulting in every item in the collection being distinctively unique, with its own character and distressed appearance that will make a lasting impression.
The finish result is outstanding.
This collection is ready made and constructed from solid wood, offering fabulous durability and as each piece is handmade, no two items are the same.
Within the is collection, there is a choice of different furniture products for your lounge and dining room including Cabinets, Tables, Media Units and Chests.

Painted Furniture.. The 'New Neutrals'
13th March 2013
When we think about decorating and adding colour to our homes, the first thought in our mind is to add colours to our walls.
But when it comes to creating beautiful interiors, why not get creative with painted furniture. By using painted and coloured furniture you can inject personality and interest to your homes.
Adding colour can be a scary thing to do with furniture, you may well love that Dresser in bright pink, but it is very costly mistake to make when you purchase and after a few seasons, you hate it or simply are fed up with it, if you do this this with clothes, handbags and shoes, you would do this with furniture..(if you are anything like me!)
Adding Painted furniture in Neutral tones and then bringing in colour with accessories or wall colours is a safe way to start experimenting with adding colour to your home
The furniture above is available on our website www.uniquechicfurniture.co.uk
Over recent years Painted Furniture has been very popular in hues of creams, ivories and whites, especially popular in interiors trying to create the very popular 'Shabby Chic' look.
Burford Antique White Bedroom Collection and Savannah Cream Dining Furniture are both available on our website
www.uniquechicfurniture.co.uk or call us 0115 9869222 for further information, prices from just £99
These colours will always be very in trend, however there are a few new 'Neutral' colours on the scene , such as greys, truffles, greens and blacks, many of which you may not have considered before but all can be added to your interiors without them being too intrusive and 'out there'
Here's some perfect examples, shades of grey and blacks without being too bold, very easy colours to live with and so elegant.
For the new season www.uniquechicfurniture.co.uk have new Painted furniture collections for your lounge, dining room and bedroom
Our Portland Painted Bedroom Furniture is painted in Stone Grey and also has Oak tops, which brings warmth to the grey, which can be considered a 'Cold' colour. As you can see from the picture, this room looks warm and inviting and anything but cool and dark which is usually how Grey can be perchieved.
Within this collection, there are beds, wardrobes, chests, bedsides, dressing tables and blanket boxes.
Also available on our website www.uniquechicfurniture.co.uk
with prices starting from just £99.00
Black painted furniture is also making a come back this season, this was very popular a few years ago, yes it is a dust collector but oh so chic and makes a wonderful statement against a coloured or neutral wall
Here we have 'Black On Black' styling using our Maison Demi Lune hallway Table with a pale wall, I think this looks very striking.
Maison French Demi Lune Hallway Table just £225 ~ available on website www.uniquechicfurniture.co.uk
Our new Chateau Grey Painted Dining range, shows how elegant painted furniture can be, shown here with white painted walls, I also think that this would lovely with an aqua green colour
Chateau Table and Chairs, shown here in Grey also available in Ivory
Benches, Tables and additional chairs can also be purchased seperately, prices from just £199
I also love this new collection, the Lowa Grey Dining / Lounge Collection, this could be made more contemporary looking by adding stark white and adding pops of red with accessories
This season consider thinking just that little bit differently with your colour schemes and add maybe a little drama to your interiors with a slash of black or tread slowly with hues of Grey and Stone, adding colour to your walls.
Whichever colour scheme you decide, think carefully and be sure to consider how it would look in different seasons and with changes of wall colour.
I may well think carefully before changing my furniture and updating my interiorsbut with shoes, I am a hopeless cause !
